Life OK, India’s fastest growing Hindi general entertainment channel, will celebrate our country’s obsession with playing the perfect host in its new reality show Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki. The new show will feature television icon Ram Kapoor hosting his celebrity friends on a dinner table to provide a daily dose of high voltage, fun-filled family entertainment. The show will debut on 21st January and will be aired from Monday to Saturday at 10pm.

Guided by the philosophy of ‘Cherish what you have’, Life OK’s new reality series will attempt at bringing out hidden chefs in five celebrities every week who will vie to outdo each other in a competition of mehmaan nawaazi. The show will witness some of the craziest moments on Indian television as the celebrities compete to play perfect cooks, perfect hosts and eventually perfect entertainers.

Commenting on the show, Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK said, “Life OK has always endeavoured to showcase interesting and diverse entertainment that stands out from the clutter. Our reality shows are always served with a twist! With Welcome- Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki, we take the audiences into the most private space of the celebrities -- their homes. We are bringing together more than 40 of your favorite faces that represent rich regional culture of Indian families.”

Each week, five different celebrities will get together to excel at playing perfect cooks, hosts and entertainers. These celebrities will gather at each other’s houses in turns each day of the week. The celebrity playing host will be tasked with making a perfect three course meal for the remaining four and to keep them entertained and engaged all this while. To make the show even more exciting, the celebrities won’t know who’ll play the host each evening. Each episode will end with the guests rating the host and at the end of the week, the host with maximum points will be declared the winner.

The host, Ram Kapoor said “I am extremely excited and anxious to host Welcome. It is a never seen before kind of a reality show and am glad to be a part of it. I hope the audiences enjoy this experience we are presenting to them.”

The show has a lot in store for audiences. Get a sneak peek into the modern home of the typical Indian bahu Sanaya Irani, first-hand experience of Ragini Khanna’s Masaaledaar Jaljeera, be a part of Manoj Tiwari’s mehfil, and catch the grand shaamiyana put up by Nigaar Khan. Not just that, VJ Andy, Karnvir Bohra, Debina Banerjee, Sara Khan, Vindoo Dara Singh and many more will battle it out to win the fun-filled competition! After all, khana toh sirf ek bahana hai, actually yeh toh paagal khaana hai!

Starting 21st January 2013, Welcome- Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi Ki will air on Life OK every Monday to Saturday at 10pm.
