Ashish Choudhary, who is doing a detective show on Colors titled Dev, has no regrets in life. “The only things I find a bit embarrassing over the last 19 years of my acting career spanning over 35 films (Shaadi Ka Laddoo, Qayamat: City Under Threat and Dhamaal) & TV (fiction - Ek Mutthi Aasmaan and non fiction shows - Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa) is doing adult content. I should have not done the film Girl Friend. One should not do anything, which we cant share in front of our kids. Recently my son tried to check out the Neha Dhupia lesbian themed film online and I stopped him. Over the course of my career, I have turned down several projects for the same reason.”
It is this responsibility that made him take up TV when he returned to acting after a four years break following his sister’s tragic death in the 26/11 terror attack. "I need the money for the future of my 5 kids (three of his own and two of his sister’s). I have also set up a business (Security company) for financial security.”
