The sexy Mouni Roy is quite excited about the second season of Colors Naagin, which starts on 8th October.
 

Talking about her role she says, “It is quite tough to play both mother and daughter, as I am always with the script for I have to say dialogues and then show other’s reaction as well.  It is tougher for I am not talking to a person opposite me but a wall. Here I give full credit to my director for helping me on my way.”

“Last season created TRP history. I thank our producer Ekta Kapoor for giving me,  Arjun Bijlani and Sudhaji a chance. This season the responsibility is higher as expectations are sky high. I will be honest here and admit  we did not expect the huge ratings we garnered. It  was the result  of Ekta’s vision,   our hard  work and brilliant execution by the creative and directorial team.”

Going on she says, “This acid test will be now and we will come to know where we stand. I am hopeful for I have heard the narration and am also shooting the initial episodes. It is a simple story  yet  you will be shocked  when the characters get introduced. I am eagerly  waiting for the audiences to watch the first episode and get their early feedback.”

Mouni who has also done Mahadav  on  Life  Ok, refused to  comment on the lower numbers of Kavach another supernatural, which had taken Naagin’s place. “I don’t want to comment on other shows. I maintain that I am positive,  having said that beyond putting in our  best,  we cant do more. ”

Is there pressure ? “Well, we are so busy working outdoors in the rains that we hardly get time to think about all this, we feel the pressure only talking to you guys.”
