Hina Khan, lead of Star Plus's long running show  Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai  is reportedly getting insecure with the growing popularity of the track of Mohsin Khan (Kartik) and Shivangi Joshi (Naina). She is said to be throwing tantrums on set and making life difficult for all by not agreeing to shoot for about five hours between noon and evening break, causing trouble to all others.  
If sources are to be believed she is pressing the production house (Director's Kut Productions) not to give performance oriented  scenes to the new couple (Shivangi and Mohsin). The source says "Hina needs to understand that if the public likes Kartik and Naina track, they will be given importance. Anyways, it was her own illness in the first place, which  forced the creative to shift focus on the Kartik and Naina track." 
Obviously Hina knows that she is a pivotal part of the show and if she is shown the door it will be curtains for the project as well. She also enjoys a good equation with the production house which is allowing her the leeway to throw her weight  around.

It would be interesting to see  how  the track unfolds once the new Naitik (Vishal  Singh) enters the fray. Karan Mehra who played Hina's on screen husband since the show began back in 2009 had quit earlier this year .
