Vikram Singh Chauhan,leadactor of long delayed Star Plus show Jana Na Dil Se Door is happy with the initial ratings of the show. “Honestly, I did not think we would be given the early evening slot. Other shows, which air around 6.30 and 7pm as well are rating similar to what we get, so it is an achievement .”

This Delhi guy who was the lead of Million Dollar Girl on Channel V, however claimed not to know the repeat ratings at 10.30 pm of his show, which was introduced in July. The TRP of the 10.30 pm slot unfortunately is the same as the 5.30 one, which is low for a prime time slot.

The makers are hopeful that the story will open up now with the introduction of a new family and the real twists and turns coming in. Ironically, the entry of the new family (Shahshank Vyas) was delayed for the channel wanted to make the fresh audiences warm up to the story. Vikram says “ I am confident now the numbers will rise even more .”

But the question remains - Will Star Plus continue the 10.30 pm slot if numbers post changes don’t work out ??
