Just spare a thought for TV actors. It is such a ruthless medium that even after being cast tentatively for a show, they know they can be replaced at the last minute. Shaleen Malhotra is the unfortunate actor who had to face such a situation. He was  penciled in for  Ekta Kapoor’s new Star Plus show Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil opposite Drashti Dhami but as usual no final confirmation was given. And it seems that he was dropped at the eleventh hour and replaced by  Arjun  Biljani.

Anticipating   the announcement of  Arjun replacing him Shaleen had  tweeted the following  yesterday morning itself. 'Guys breaking the ice I've not signed any show so far.... The day I do will let you guys know for sure....' Shaleen has done other shows like Arjun and Pyaar Tune Kia Kiya etc.   He is also working on a big web series.
