'Mastram' & 'Love Games' actress Tara Alisha Berry on love, life & movies

She entered B-town with the movie ‘Mastram’ and since then there has been no looking back. Her last movie‘Love Games, created quite a stir for its boldness. Here, in an open conversation with GR8Tara Alisha Berryshares with us her journey, childhood days and upcoming assignments…

On back to those childhood days

I have many childhood memories! Hahaha…But I miss those days, where I used to sit on bed with my masi and mother all day long and watched movies back to back. And yes not to forget those yummy ghar ka khaana. The three of us used to do this a lot and still do!

On shooting intimate scenes

I love acting and hence I can’t find anything uncomfortable. However I do find such scenes challenging. But don’t you think that any scene where one is vulnerable makes the scene challenging???So again coming back to such shoots, the most important thing is to forget who you are completely. We are playing characters and I think if you just get into the skin of the character, all the insecurities, inhibitions and nervousness will wash away.

On dream roles

It is slightly different with me. More than dream roles, I have dream directors I’d like to work with. Anurag dada again, Imtiaz Ali, Vikramaditya Motwane, Anand L Rai, Ayan Mukherjee… to name a few!

On upcoming projects

I’m currently in talks for two interesting projects. Also I had signed a three – film deal with Vishesh Films, so I am all pepped up for the other two.

QUICK PLAY

One advice you would have given yourself 3 years ago

Hang in there – life’s only going to get better!

Complete the sentence. Success means…

Success means being happy!

What provokes you to lose your temper?

If somebody hurts someone I love.

What you think the most when you are all by yourself?

How blessed I am!

An idea that changed your life

Gratitude.

One thing you wanted to do but somehow could not…

I always wanted to play the guitar. I will learn it at some point for sure!

Last time you cried

Won’t lie…Just last week!

If you would like to witness something, what it would…

An abuse free nation. Exciting, right???

What bores you the most?

Superficiality.

Your weirdest fear

Moths and butterflies.

The most incredible thing happened to you

The fact that I get to do what I love!

Best compliment you have received

Well, that I am kind. Isn’t that the most pleasing thing to listen?

Favorite four legged animal

Dogs. I always had them as pets…

Crazy thing you heard about yourself

So far any link-up rumours related to me are just hilarious. I laugh it off…
