Surbhi Chandana is on Cloud 9 with the positive traction her new Star Plus show Ishqbaaz is getting . “It is a sort of homecoming with Four Lions ( Production House). This is my second show with them and people are loving my character. Anika is a dabang kind of girl who is kind of in your face. Interestingly, since she is also very innocent, she tends to babble stuff, without realizing it’s impact . My character also has a lot of emotional connect, which will play out from her back story of being an orphan as well. So all said and done its a complete package.”

Coming to her personal take on love she says, “Since I am yet to be stung by this emotion, I don’t have much to comment, except that I don’t subscribe to the notion that opposites attract. Even our show touts the same. I rather believe that it is better for partners to be on the same page.”

Surbhi who was earlier seen in Qubool Hai, had to wait for a long time before Ishqbaaz finally came on air, “ It was tough, sometimes I felt like giving up, but I am glad that I hung on, for the feed back has been good."

Luckily Surbhi exited from Qubool Hai when season 2 ended, for the show really lost it’s way creatively towards the end, “Yes having said that, I was a bit upset back then, when my track ended, but the producer Gul Khan assured me that she has something big up her sleeve for me.”
