Recently there were press reports, which suggested that Colors was not happy with the performance of Shivani Tomar who has just entered in Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki , post leap. It was hinted that they were considering to replace her again with Kratika Sengar. There was also news that Shivani was not comfortable with the romantic scenes with male lead Sharad Malhotra.

However a source close to the decision making, says, “There is no such plan. Agreed there might have been some initial teething problems, but they always happen as new actors take time to find their feet. In the heat of moment certain things might have been said, but they were blown out of proportion. As of now we have no problem with her and there is no truth in the replacement theory.”

When pointed out that Kratika fans are very angry and want her back the source says ,“ This always happens with every replacement. We are sure that over time Shivani will win the hearts of Kasam fans. She is a good actor with potential.”

The source went on to add, “Kratika’s exit was always planned and she was in the loop right from day one. Replacements are never easy & creatively a lot of changes need to be made;” added the source.

However another source quipped, “TV decisions are made and unmade on a real time basis, depending on evolving feedback and ratings. So one does not really know what eventually might happen tomorrow.”
