I have not broken a matka yet, but it will be exciting to try once. I have seen many breaking the dahi handi and its a though job. It needs a lot of balance, practice and concentration. I have always been fond of Janmashtami as I am a bhakt of Lord Krishna and have played Krishna ni Suryaputra Karn and that really changed my life. I am at more peace with myself.

Dahi Handi is always fun. I have broken it a couple of times. I was like Kanahiya in my hometown, Jaipur. I have been to Mathura too which is Lord Krishna's birthplace. I have always liked to visit Krishna Temple. Lord Krishna has always intrigued me as a God. I would one day like to play Lord Krishna in a show or a film.

My family is an ardent follower of Lord Krishna. In fact my mom has adopted Krishna as her own son and at home he is taken care of just like a member of the family. I don't call myself a devotee but yes I definitely follow and observe this festival as he is considered family for us. The festival is celebrated lavishly at home with 56 kinds of Bhog and Krishna is dressed up in yellow. There is a cradle made for him with flowers and all day Bhajans are played for him. As a child I remember the excitement of the festival, I used to stay up till 12am for Janamashtami and once in a while we used to visit ISKCON temple in Delhi which used to be decked up so beautifully with flowers on this special day.

The fondest memory of my childhood is going to see Krishna Jhankis. The beautiful Krishna Jhankis are decorated on Janmashtami and all the families go to see them at midnight. I am more of a spiritual person than religious so I don't really worship Lord idols. I believe in the presence of Lord everywhere around us but with Krishna I have always had a special relationship. During my college days, when I first started living alone and used to be really depressed, because of loneliness I use to see Laddu Gopalji (baby Krishna) in my dreams and then I got myself Laddoo Gopalji who took care of me and always guided during my journey. I feel his blessings always around me.

I am from Delhi and Janmasthmi is big there. I always pray to Lord Krishna. Janmasthmi is a good festival and its a hapyp feelnig to see families happy. I like to see decorated Jakis of Krishna. I love to eat Kheer and Puri on this occasion. I also like to eat white makhan with parathas.

I have always been the Govind since I was young. Mom would dress me up like the deity and all the neighbours would get Makhan for me. It was great fun. Krishna is in everyone. He is a deity associated with naughtiness, power, justice and beauty. I have attended a lot of courses at ISKCON and I am always left in awe of Krishna. When I was young, mom would dress me up as Krishna and the elder bhaiya and didis of our society would make me sit and we would dance and do a skit and in return get prices, Makhan and of course loads of attention .

I got the offer of playing Lord Krishna recently in a TV show. This will be the first time I will be playing God & the first time I will be seen clean shaven. I am a believer in Lord Krishna. I like his persona & aura
