Neha Pendse, who plays a smart modern woman boss in SAB TV show, May I Come In Madam, who does not mind flirting and throwing her weight around, personally has no qualms about mild flirting on sets as well.

“Anything what is healthy and understood as such by both parties is ok. A little bit of banter makes the job more fun.”

Returning back to her character Neha says, “Sanjana is well travelled and confident who knows how to get her job done.”

Is it right or wrong?

“We should not make too much of it as it is a comedy. Having said that at first when I was offered this character of woman who is confident about her self and does not mind playing the game a bit, I was hesitant as most woman audiences might not take kindly to it. But then I decided to go ahead for let’s face it there are such woman around.”

She also would not want to hazard labelling the woman as anything.

“As whatever you do in life is subjective and interpretive.”

But what if you were a boss in real life?

“In my show it is shown in a very light and humorous way. If I were a boss in real life, it will happen in a more dangerous zone,” she jokes.

“I haven’t come across him yet. Ideally I want a non-actor as my life partner but never say never. Destiny may take turn anytime.”
