Oye Teri…  The Twitterati goes bonkers over Big B's 2nd B'day

They’re crooning ‘Happy’ (2nd) Birthday!’ to Big B! 

And it is certainly not the 11th of October, today, when the phenomenon was actually born. So what’s with this ‘2nd Birthday’ brouhaha? Well, the answer comes straight from the junior Bachchan, Abhishek, who, too, has tweeted ‘Happy 2nd Birthday, Pa, you are my inspiration!’ - Big B #2882# - and in the same post has gone on to recount how the legend almost kicked the bucket because of a freak accident on July 26, 1983.

Well, who doesn’t remember that? It happened on the Set of ‘Coolie’ when a mistimed blow from Punit Issar sent the senior Bachchan reeling onto a table with its corner hurting his pelvis, almost fatally.

A whole Nation broke into stunned prayers for days and nights of suffocating  suspense while ‘Splenectomy’  and other emergency measures were taken by the Breech Candy Docs to revive him (‘I was clinically dead for a couple of minutes’, is what once Big B, himself, revealed) 

However, the prayers were answered finally and Destiny smiled at last! The phenomenon did recover and that happened on the 2nd of August. And a relieved Nation was, chanting Shakespeare—‘All is well that the ends well!’…

So here;s GR8 wishing a ‘Happy 2nd Birthday!’ to Big B!
