Yes, the ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum’ sizzler, Mandana Karimi has said ‘Aye!’ to her steady ‘Date’ of the last couple of years, the young and bright-eyed businessman, Gaurav Gupta. It happened when the love-birds were in a hotel and suddenly, Gaurav moved to get on his knees and proposed like a Knight to his Dame.

Obviously, she was ecstatic and heaved an instant ‘Yesss’!

Originally Manizhe Karimi, she was born to an Indian father and an Iranian mother in Tehran. The environs at home were strictly conservative, but she was able to break all shackles to pursue a life in glamour. Modelling was her first calling and then, she took to acting like a fish takes to water. 

However, she got her true claim to fame with her mood swings and blow-hot-blow-cold bearing in ‘Bigg Boss’, this year. It was there that she became a household name and ended up in the top-3 contestants. 

Controversy has been her feed, like a marriage certificate claiming that she is married to fellow model, Lalit Tehlan surfaced in 2011. The document dated, February 8, 2011 stated that it was an Arya Samaaj Wedding, only to be fiercely denied by Mandana, saying that they were just dating.

We hope all that is past and life takes a blissful turn for her and her beau, Gaurav. We don’t wish to sound cynical, but ‘Engagements’ have often been found to be slippery in the Show-world.

Here’s hoping that Mandana & Gaurav prove an exception to that!
