TV actress Niyati Joshi last seen in NDTV Imagine Rakht Sambandh is now all set for a new innings in Bollywood.�She began her acting career with Kuchh Love Kuchh Masti on Sahara One . Her notable TV shows were Saat Phere and Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyan. Niyati is now playing the lead in Joy Mukherjee’s son Monjoy Mukherjee's upcoming directorial venture Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara .

NJ:  I play a modern career woman who is having relationship problems with her guy Sahil Anand (Student of the Year) who is a commitment phobe. I really relate with my character especially the conversations she has with her mother.

We hear you shot in Kashmir?
NJ: Yes and this was after the floods last year so there was no communication . But yes it was it was really beautiful. Since we were shooting in winter it was quite tough as I was dressed in skimpy one pieces. I had my Yashraj moment. I have no problems with skin show or love making on screen as long as it needed by the script.

On shooting with Director Monjoy Mukherjee 
NJ: Monjoy Dada has done a great job it does not seem that this is his first time behind the camera . He also has a small cameo so watch out for it.

On co-actor Sahil Anand
NJ: We connected well and touchwood people have loved our on screen chemistry.

You have been around on TV for 7 years. How was it shifting to films?
NJ: Luckily today both the mediums are fusing . I will admit here one of the main reason for my long four years absence from TV was that I was not getting goods offers. The old out of sight is out of mind syndrome does kick in.

I will consider fresh film offers only after this releases on 5th of August. I am open to juicy small screen projects as well.

On her personal life
NJ: I am now at an age where I need to settle down. I am looking for long term relationships. No time pass flings for me.
