New York Theatre Festival’s Best Director Divya Palat presented her new interactive comedy “ The Jury “, on Aug 7,2015 at NCPA. This new audience participative show revolves around 12 characters in a Jury Room, where they debate the fate of a boy arrested for the attempted murder of his girlfriend who is currently in a coma.

The Jury has been a perfect blend of comedy, technology and live performances where One hundred members of the audience had used their touch pads to vote “GUILTY” or “NOT GUILTY” at the end of the show - a first in India. According to Divya,”The Jury promises to be a fun evening with tons of laughs and a hint of mystery at a perfect setting”.

Divya Palat, Director of the play “The Jury”, played the perfect host along with her lead performer Tanishaa Mukerji. The event was graced by Bollywood celebrities like Tanujaji, Kajol, Legendary actor Juhi Chawla, Director Ayan Mukerji, Lara Dutta with ace tennis player Mahesh Bhupati, socialites Rashmi Uday Singh & Zeba Kohli, former cricketer Ajit Agarkar with his spouse Fatima Agarkar, and International cricketer Zaheer Khan.
