A few quotes of the Celebs present are…
Shatrughan Sinha:
'We are all here to bless our friend & family member Shashi Ranjan on this momentous occasion when his pretty daughter makes her debut on the silver screen. Like Mahesh Bhatt saab said it takes a lot of guts to come in front of the camera & be judged by a million people. So best wishes to Anushka on her debut film.'
Mahesh Bhatt :
'I Would like to congratulate Anushka for daring to take the plunge & come in front of the audience as an actress. As filmmakers we oscillate between elation & dreaddepending on how the audience perceives us. The bigger achievement is to have the courage to accept the challenge of being judged & criticised for your work. Success or otherwise is secondary as long as we keep working. I feel the same nervousness I felt when Alia was being launched & my best wishes to Anushka on her debut.'
Ramesh Sippy :
'The visuals are wonderful & the actors have been presented beautifully on screen. Binod Pradhan is a master craftsman & his brilliance is reflecting in the rushes of the film. Anushka has done a wonderful job & I hope she receives the love & appreciation of the audience.'
David Dhavan:
'Shashi is like a brother to me. We have known each other for more than 35 years now, having studied together at FTII. Ever since we have had a close friendship & I wish him & his daughter Anushka all the very best for this wonderful film.'
Alia Bhatt:
'Anushka & I literally grew up together & am really excited & nervous for her. Anushka, Masaba, Akansha & I would play actor / actor as kids andstrangely I was always given the role of the male actor. That’s why I am dressed as the male lead today to support my sister Anushka. The trailer is looking fabulous and wish the film connects with the audience.'
Sanjay Khan:
What a moment for the Ranjans to see their beautiful daughter on screen. She is a true Indian beauty, who looks good in both western & Indian attire. Anushka is the best production of the Ranjan's & I wish them the best of luck for the success of the movie.
Satish Kaushik:
'It was great to be part of this project & I loved every bit of it. The film has turned out really well and we hope that the audience appreciates the effort the cast & crew has put in to complete the film.'
