MAX channel brings you the World Television Premiere of a passionate drama about selfless love, sacrifice and betrayal - ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ at 8 pm on Sunday, 16th August with a repeat telecast on Sunday, 23rd August at 1 pm.

Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, Hamari Adhuri Kahani is a story of unfulfilled love that goes beyond boundaries. The film boasts of an unbeatable cast, with Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan in the lead roles and Rajkummar Rao in the supporting role. Hamari Adhuri Kahani is a story of a lovelorn woman, Vasudha (Vidya Balan) who falls in love with a business tycoon, Arav Ruparel (Emraan Hashmi) whose past catches up with her.

Commenting on her role in Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Vidya Balan said “To be very honest, for the very first time, this was one role that didn’t emotionally drain me and credit goes to my director Mohit Suri for that. He used to give me that time and space, after performing intense scenes, because he knew I needed it to come out of my character. I never had to ask him for the same because it was already being done.”
