Razia Sultan shifts to prime time!
'Razia Sultan' will soon witness a change in its time slot. Creator Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s historical show, currently airing at 7.30 pm, will swap time slot with 'Badii Devrani', which airs at 9.30 pm from August 10 on & TV.
Apparently, the decision has been taken keeping in mind the upcoming track of Razia, which will mark the entry of actress Swati Anand, as Iltutmish's wife Shabana Begum, Jaswinder Gardener and Mandar Jadhav as Razia's aunt and cousin, respectively. The shows story is going to take momentum and keep the audiences glued. Razia Sultan is produced by Swastik Productions the makers of hit show Mahabharat. The show is being appreciated for its content and look and has a loyal audience base.
Razia, the daughter of Emperor Iltutmish, who founded the Delhi Sultanate in the 13th century, was brought up in a protective environment. She grew up to be different from other girls her age, had a curious mind and always questioned things around her. A doting daughter and a zealous princess, Razia sought equality and justice amongst masses that led the people of the kingdom to honour her as their Sultan. With grand sets, opulent costumes and gritty storytelling, the show is unfolding the journey of Razia.
