Rajesh Kumar, the talented actor who has always had the audience in splits with his rib-tickling comedy is all set to take his fans on yet another laugh riot. Rajesh Kumar who is currently playing the role of Bhagwan Das in Zee TV’s light-hearted show Neeli Chatri waale will soon be seen donning women’s attire. Yes, you have heard it right! For an upcoming episode of Neeli Chatri Waale where the protagonists Bobby and Bhagwan Das will reverse their roles, Rajesh will be seen wearing a saree, bindi and armlets. In this special episode, Bhagwan Das will be seen stepping into the shoes of his wife Bobby and doing all the household work. While shooting for this unusual sequence, Rajesh tripped over his saree and fell flat on his face, leaving the cast and crew guffawing before they could even rush to his rescue.

Rajesh Kumar added, “I am very happy to be associated with the show as it gives you the opportunity to experiment a lot with your character. After all, Neeli Chhatri Waale is not your typical saas bahu saga and we have a lot of freedom to explore interesting tracks and sub-plots. While shooting the episode where Bobby and I have a role reversal of sorts and I get into her clothes, I realized how difficult it is to manage a saree. I even fell down, tripping over it. Hats off to the ladies who can handle it with care!”
