The leading ladies of the show Manmarzian which airs on Star Plus recently shot for a sequence in a mall in Bhayander and it was not an easy task!

Monica Sehgal and Kashmira Irani were at the mall for long hours and since the word spread that they were present at the mall, a huge crowd gathered to witness the shoot. Because of the chaos that followed, the production guys had to stall the shoot for almost two hours!

Manmarzian is Monica’s debut show and she hasn’t had any such experience before. She says, “This was a very new experience for me…I have had fans recognizing me often but this was something else only! The crowd was screaming our names and everybody wanted a selfie with me or my autograph. Even when Kashmira and I were rehearsing our lines, we were getting interrupted by the fans, they constantly kept coming up to us for a picture.”

Kashmira says, “Shooting in real locations is always a task! We have to do our scenes quickly because of the gathering crowd and this time was no different. We had to stay in our vanity vans and rehearse there only till the crowd was controlled. Also Monica was surprised with all the attention, she kept asking me how can you concentrate with so many people around and how do you fulfill everyones wish of a selfie? I had to calm her down but in the end it was a fun day and we felt like celebrities!”
