Born in Canada to Indian parents, our cover girl Karenjit Kaur Vohra, better known as Sunny Leone, sure has come a long way, baby! From her modeling and former adult-film star days in the US and Canada she decided to move bag & baggage to what she envisioned as greener pastures, to the desi shores of Mumbai, India. She’s slowly but surely repositioned herself here… from her first major appearance on Indian television, in the house of Bigg Boss three years ago, to signing and featuring in cameo roles in a plethora of Bollywood movies, to her first major lead role in the recently released, blockbuster film Ragini MMS-2. Her performance in Ragini MMS-2 is receiving serious acclamation from even the greatest of her critics and the film already into its third week is being documented as the biggest hit of 2014 thus far! Hmmm, this also brings me to ponder a wee bit further about Madame Ekta Kapoor, producer of the same film.

They say that the only place success comes before hard work is in a dictionary but for the numerous hard working people we all know only a tiny minority find the success they’re searching for or truly deserve. The one’s who don’t often blame it on destiny, on karma, or the dearth of good fortune.
