BomBaebs join hands with DeLon and #fame for crimes against women

Two young and brave girls from Mumbai -- Pankhuri Awasthi and Uppekha Jain – got together as “BomBaebs” to sing and rap, and use it as a tool to raise their voice and awareness about crimes against women. Their very first video #RapAgainstRape was so powerful that in no time it went viral and immediately struck a chord with Los Angeles’ rapper/producer DeLon who saw Bombaebs on Youtube. He reached out to BomBaebs for a collaboration. BomBaebs, in the meanwhile, the talents have also chosen #fame to be their official vehicle to voice incredible videos.

And now, in a matter of weeks, BomBaebs and DeLon, alongwith #fame, have come out with yet another heart-wrenching and soul searching video called Echoes of Pain (Remix). While BomBaebs’ #RapAgainstRape is arguably one of the most creative songs against rape ever released, #Echoes-of-Pain[Remix] is equally piercing and is dedicated to women who have suffered from violation and rape, as well as, to encourage them and others to help create a better future.

#fame talents BomBaebs talk about what is really needed for the country. In one incident a 70-year-old Sister Superior was raped whereas in another occasion a 23-year-old girl was a victim of a gang rape, which led to her death. Great music and Human Rights combined…Why didn’t anybody else come up with that yet? DeLon and the BomBaebs set an example of how to make people see things in a progressive way. DeLon and the BomBaebs feel that it’s time to change that and are pioneers in their field.Bombaebs seek honour, dignity and respect for women and want men to show the same to emerge as real masculine.
