Rishina Kandhari's new found love!
Rishina Kandhari has always been fond of her pets. “I have always been around pets since my childhood. I had six dogs and two parrots at my mom's house. I had thirty pigeons which were there in out-house. We have made huge bird house outside so two pigeons used to stay in one block. I also had thirty rabbits in my bungalow which was very huge in Indore. I have grown with pets. Right now I am only having this bird at home.” Remembering her little birdie who passed away Rishina adds, “I still remember that day I was playing with my pet and after a while I said bye to her and I left. And when I came back usually she used to make chipir chipri sound but that night I couldn't hear her voice. I tried almost everything to save her life but I couldn't.”
According to Rishina bird is a very less maintenance pet so it's very easy to take care of them than dog and cats. “I don't mind keeping dog but cat it's a big no for me. My bird is a very silent bird probably when she will turn eight months she might start talking. I would recommend to keep a small pet bird then the adult because small pets are like they be the way you treat them. And it's more easy to train a small bird then an adult bird." Rishina keep her bird in the cage but the cage doors are always open so the bird keeps going in and coming out and also plays on ladder which is inside the cage. "We keep our fans switched off because she is trying to fly. I don't believe in keeping the bird in the cage." So what is your next pet wish? "My next pet on wish list is African Grey bird and then I would like to buy a Beagle. Birds are always attached to one person in the family. My bird is attached to me and my daughter. They become best to everyone who gives them unconditional love.”
