The star batsman of the Indian cricket team, Suresh Raina, married his childhood friend, Priyanka Chaudhary, on April 3, 2015. The wedding was held at Hotel Leela Palace, Delhi. The beautiful bride hails from Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. She is an IT professional with a bank in Netherlands. As per various reports, she did B.Tech from an engineering college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Several reports also suggest that Priyanka might leave her job to stay in India after marriage.

Although the couple knew each other since childhood, they were hardly in touch after Priyanka’s family shifted base to Punjab. The match was fixed by the parents of these two. The marriage was fixed while Raina was away in Australia for four months, for the cricket world cup. His mother arranged the whole thing with Priyanka’s family.
