Abhinetri

The channel is all set to premiere the hit film Abhinetri featuring the Queen of Hearts - Hema Malini and recent Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee legendary Shashi Kapoor on Zee Classic  this Friday, 3rd April at 9 PM.

A chance meeting between an Assistant Scientist, Shekhar [Shashi Kapoor] and an established stage dancer and singer, Anjana [Hema Malini] results in love. When Shekhar introduces Anjana to his mother, she develops an instant liking for the girl and allows them to get married. After marriage, Anjana stops her involvement in dancing and singing and the next several months both live harmoniously together.  As time passes by, Shekhar gets more involved with his work in the lab and a disappointed Anjana resumes dancing and singing again. This does not go well with Shekhar. Arguments ensue and they decide to live separately. When Shekhar's mom comes to visit him, both agree to live together till his mother goes away. Living together, will they discover the missing spice in their wedlock?
