We have all heard about the friendship bond between the great warrior of Mewar namely Maharana Pratap and his beautiful white horse Chetak. Well this beautiful story of the bond between the warrior and his horse is being shown too in the popular historical show Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television. It can be said that history is been repeated, when we see the same bond shared between Ssharad Malhotra who essays the role of Maharana Pratap and the horse named Benhur aka Chetak.

Just like onscreen, off-screen too the tale of Ssharad Malhotra and his love for Benhur has been talked about. A boy from the production house informs us saying, “Ssharad loves Benhur and they have become best friends. Ssharad gets carrots for the horse every morning and he waits to see Ssharad. As much as onscreen, off - screen too the actor loves his horse and soon he is planning to own Benhur too.”

To know more about his love for the horse, we got in touch with Ssharad and he shares, “My heart melts when I look at Benny, he is very adorable. I believe that horses understand the language of touch hence I always pat him and pamper him with carrots which he loves to eat the most. I love cowboy films and have always dreamt to owning a horse. Pappu Verma is the owner of Benhur and soon I am going to buy Benny from him as currently he is in a contract with the production house for the show Maharana Pratap.”
