Mahek is with Beti
Several celebrities have come forward to support the #BeWithBeti campaign which is being conducted to stop the practice of female infanticide. These celebrities on social networking sites shared a few pics standing for the cause. But one picture which really caught our attention was that featured Mahek Chahal.
Mahek said, “There is no male without female and this picture defines that. Strength, gender equality, in-discrimination – one photograph shows it all. It’s great to see not only celebs but the masses also becoming a part of this. I feel if you have to reach out & change thoughts then one should definitely stand for the cause and make everyone aware about this. Aamir (Khan) did it through Satyamev Jayate. Similarly others should come forward and support it in their own way."
