Mehwish Hayat turns singer for Zindagi’s Maya!
We have heard and read about popular singers like Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar and even Himesh Reshammiya being bitten by the acting bug in the past, we now see a new trend emerging with renowned actors like Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor amongst others taking to the mike.
Zindagi’s actress, Mehwish Hayat has followed suit! Earlier seen in Aina Dulhan Ka and Mere Qatil Mere Dildaar, she now turns singer for the title track of Zindagi’s ongoing show Maya. Ranked 8th amongst the sexiest Asian Women in the world, Mehwish who has dazzled everyone with her stunning looks and impeccable acting, now promises to entertain viewers with her soothing & soulful voice.
The soundtrack has been well stylized both lyrically and musically. It starts slowly and its pace increases as the song progresses. The lyrics depict the lives of the two sisters in the serial starting from their childhood and their innocence, to the time when things start to change as they step into adulthood. The music has been composed by famous Pakistani composer Waqar Ali, and the lyrics are by Muhammad Nasir.
