As part of the commitment to give back to society, WWE recently sponsored the ‘Bosco Mela’ for 2,000 underprivileged children at Don Bosco Quadrangle, school in Matunga, Mumbai. Various activities, events, games, food and recreation were arranged to make the day memorable for the children. The objective was not only to give the children an occasion to celebrate, but also create an awareness of their rights as children and the need to be educated to make a positive contribution to society. The event was graced by Salil Acharya and Amrita Raichand. Simultaneously, WWE had also tied-up with the Open Door Foundation in Bangalore to sponsor a special festive meal for more than 700 children across seven childcare homes. Open Door Foundation is dedicated to create a better future for children living in orphanages and child-care homes in India.
