Kung Fu Panda 2 to premiere on &Pictures!
Starring voices of popular Hollywood actors Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Gary Oldman, Jackie Chan and Seth Rogan the blockbuster action-comedy-drama is all set to air on Sunday, December 28th at 12 noon only on &pictures! For the festive month of December, the channel quadrupled the entertainment quotient by airing latest Hollywood blockbusters on Indian Television - Charlie’s Angels- Full Throttle, Transformers and Mission Impossible 3 for three consecutive Sundays. This weekend on Sunday 28 December, &Pictures brings to its viewers a delightful treat with the television premiere of the much awaited movie Kung Fu Panda 2.
In the second installment of Kung Fu Panda, Po (voice of Jack Black), having attained the status of Dragon Warrior in the first film, still leads the Furious Five: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). The kingdom now faces the prospect of being conquered and ruled by the evil peacock Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), whose minions have designed a new weapon to conquer China and destroy Kung Fu. The furious five along with Po attempt to stop him, but the panda is burdened with crippling memory flashbacks linked to this villain. Po must uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins and only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed. Will Po be able to save China and Kung Fun and unveil the mystery of his past?
