On the 19th August 2012 the opening show of the third IIJW was a grand success. Envi and Nizam by Gitanjali in association with GR8! Presents Beti was a show that was much more than just glamour and glitter.

Beti fashion shows have always been a perfect melange of spreading awareness & fighting against various atrocities against women in a glamorous way with the creme de la creme in attendance to walk the ramp supporting the movement..

The 'BETI' Celebrity Ramp-walk.....supports HEALTHY is HOT..ZERO is NOT.. On 5th April, '12, the Social Welfare organisation, 'beti' organised its annual Celebrity - Ramp-walk and Fashion-show at Sun & Sand in Juhu.

The Indian Television Academy took another step for its movement, 'beti' which is a clarion call against Female Foeticide, rampant all across the county, today. It is, indeed, a curse that is playing havoc with the Gender-balance as created by Mother Nature!

'SALAAM BETI' THE ITA-BIG PRESENTATION - FASHION SHOW Anu Ranjan, Co-Publisher GR8! Magazine and President -The Indian Television Academy (ITA), had launched 'Beti' an awareness campaign against female foeticide, Supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on Saturday 4th February, 2006.

It was a date with delight, a jostle with the jollies, a tryst with the terrific – and all of that was fused into a game of crackling cricket. But it was cricket with a difference.
